Double-twist hexagonal mesh to EN 10223-3, woven in our own factory as rolls or panels made to size: for free drapery, gabions and erosion control. Not a substitute for high-tensile mesh in anchored active systems.
What it does
Double-twist mesh is a hexagonal weave in which every pair of wires is twisted around each other twice. Because of that double twist the weave does not unravel when a single wire is cut or broken — the damage stays local. We weave it for two kinds of work: free drapery on a rock face, where falling stones and small blocks are slowed under the mesh and guided to the toe, and gabions and erosion control, where the mesh becomes the basket that holds the stone.
It is made from soft wire, so it elongates a great deal at low force. That is exactly why it is not used in anchored active systems, where the mesh is pre-tensioned to hold the slope; that work needs high-tensile mesh.

The mesh is our own manufacture: we weave it in our own factory as rolls or as panels cut to size, and every batch is delivered with wire and coating test reports.

Mesh opening, wire diameter and coating class are chosen for the work and the environment: marine and industrial atmospheres move the choice towards zinc-aluminium or the PVC-coated wire.
Where it is used
- Free drapery on rock faces and road cuttings, with a top support rope and edge fixing.
- Gabion boxes and mattresses, stone-filled on site.
- Erosion control and revegetation, often together with a mat or a hydroseeded layer.
Specification and acceptance
A copy-ready specification text is published on the main site (in Turkish). At acceptance, mesh opening and wire diameter are measured, the coating is checked against the test report, and the tolerance class is verified; the batch record accompanies the delivery.
