DELTAX is a light diamond-mesh drapery made of 2 mm high-tensile (1,770 N/mm²) steel wire. A 117 m² roll weighs 76 kg; in the manufacturer’s comparison the same area of 3 mm hexagonal mesh weighs 164 kg. A fine mesh that also holds small stones; with GREENAX, integrated with an erosion control mat.
What it does
DELTAX is a drapery mesh: it slows down stones and small blocks breaking off the surface under the mesh and guides them to the toe; it does not prevent the breakout. If anchored stabilization is needed, TECCO SYSTEM3 is chosen, for blocky rock SPIDER; which one is needed is decided by the block size measured during the survey and the condition of the slope (anchored mesh or drapery (Turkish)).

The weight advantage lowers labour and machinery needs at installation; the roll can be unrolled by hand. From a distance the 2 mm wire is not visible on the surface; that is the reason it is preferred on slopes within settlements.
GREENAX: drapery and erosion mat in one
GREENAX is DELTAX mesh combined at the factory with a three-dimensional polypropylene erosion control mat; roll 3.90 × 30 m. The mat is olive green, three-dimensional on both sides and permeable to hydroseeding; seeding can be done before or after installation. According to the manufacturer's salt spray test, the corrosion resistance of the mesh is 2 – 3 times that of standard hexagonal mesh. Stabilization and erosion protection are installed in one operation; on slopes with only an erosion problem, a mat without mesh and hydroseeding are enough.
Installation and acceptance
Top edge rope and its anchors, unrolling the roll from top to bottom, joining the panels without overlap, bottom edge rope and intermediate anchors if needed. At acceptance, edge rope tension, anchor heads and panel joints are checked; the result is entered on the tag. Specification text: drapery mesh specification (Turkish).
